How Jane works

Jane’s approach is down to earth, genuine and relatable. It is really important that you feel seen, heard and understood and that you feel emotionally safe and secure within the therapeutic relationship.

Jane uses her professional skills as a Consultant Clinical Psychologist and lived experience to support you through the difficult times you are experiencing. Naturally and understandably, everyone struggles emotionally at times and can feel really ‘stuck’ or that things will never get any better. It is important that you feel safe to explore your feelings in a space that feels accepting and validating and that real trust can develop. You can be assured that your best interests will always be the priority.

There are evidence-based psychological therapies available that can help you through this difficult time in your life, to help you think about your future and to reconnect you with who you are and what is important, fulfilling and meaningful in your life. Psychological therapy can often help you to move from a position in which you may feel powerless, helpless and out of control to feeling empowered and in control.
